At least once a year the SE Region of the RedStar Pilots Association (RPA) meets in Waycross, GA, at the Waycross - Ware County- Airport (KAYS) to conduct formation training and enjoy some good comradery.  In April 2013 I was invited down to KAYS by The Letters from Home entertainment group to do some photography for them. Entering the hanger I only knew two of the pilots.  So here I was crashing the party.  As with all aviators in groups like this they just treated me like one of the group all be it a "Newbie".  After talking with several of the pilots the next morning and attending the morning briefing I ended up flying with Craig Payne in his Nanchang CJ-6 doing my first air-2-air shoot with SE RPA.
