The Annual Warbirds Over Monroe is held on the weekend closest to Veteran's Day (11 Nov) to pay tribute to all those who have served and are serving this great nation.  The show is the last Airshow for the season on the East Coast. This year the Military Aviation Museum (MAM) flew it's Junkers (CASA-352-L) Ju-52.  There was Thom Richard's P-40 Warhawk "America's Dream", Class of '45 (Scott "Scooter" Yoak in P-51D  Mustang "Quick Silver" and Jim "Torq" Tobel in  F4U-4 Corsair "Korean War Hero" along with a flight of AT-6 / SNJ Texans. I even had the opportunity to be a participant in Greg Koontz's "Alabama Boys" comedy routine (see runway chicken photos).
